I am a science writer who aspires to tell stories that are emotionally moving, intellectually engaging, and which capture the imaginations of readers of all backgrounds. I have experience at organizations such as NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the Argonne National Lab, and Astronomy magazine, and I am always eager to expand my skills.
I grew up in Indianapolis, IN, and attended the Indy branch campus of Indiana University from 2014-2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Film and minor in Creative Writing. I am now pursuing a Master of Arts in Science Writing through Johns Hopkins University, and work as a Science Writer in the Heliophysics Science Directorate at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center
I set myself to my goals with dedication and drive, and have been known to spill tens of thousands of words onto the keyboard when inspiration strikes. I also enjoy researching stories and editing the finalized manuscripts almost as much as I love the writing itself
